Trailhead Coffee Roasters
We are driven by community. With over a decade in the coffee industry, we know that the choices we make have a big impact both locally and at origin. Voodoo Doughnut
Old friends and entertainment-oriented Portlanders Kenneth “Cat Daddy” Pogson and Tres Shannon collaborated on the creation of Voodoo Doughnut. They shared a desire to fuse exceptional hospitality with their bold, do-it-yourself approach to show business and decided to pursue a joint entrepreneurial venture in 2000. Upon conducting research, they discovered that downtown Portland lacked a doughnut shop. As a result, they rented a small storefront situated between two nightclubs in Old Town in 2003. They joked about their ambition to achieve “world doughnut domination” with friends and family and opened Voodoo Doughnut. Initially, their pastry offerings were a combination of traditional and unconventional flavors.

Backwoods Brewing
OUR TEAM Our team of brewers and staff consists of all local family and friends. The cornerstone for our success is founded here in the camaraderie of the Backwoods family. We embrace the idea of work and play as a team. Where the Gifford Pinchot National Forest meets the Carson valley, you will find us busily brewing craft beers from the best ingredients found in the Northwest. Backwoods Brewing was founded by the Waters family in July of 2012. Prior to that, Jim Waters had taught his sons the art of home brewing before they flew the nest, but the boys came back after college with the dream of starting a brewery in their hometown. Many beer batches and napkin doodles later, with a can-do attitude and some carpentry know-how, the Waters saw their dream finally come to life. The first brews that came out of the pub were made on a small one-barrel system. However, increasing demand and growing awareness of the brew pub allowed the family to bump up to a 7-barrel, and finally the 20-barrel system that we brew on today. Our beer can be found throughout the NW, including Washington, Oregon and Idaho.

Born out of Uptown Beer Co in 2018, BinaryBrewing.co moved production to a new custom brew house in the Historic Old Beaverton Bakery, in the heart of Old Town Beaverton A Practical Fusion custom built 10bbl brewhouse is supported by a fleet of 10bbl Stout uni-tanks. This new brewery has allowed BinaryBrewing.co to continue to decode the classic ales and lagers. Community focused, BinaryBrewing.co takes pride in being part of a vibrant community through working with non-profits such as Free Geek, SOLVE Oregon, Oregon Food Bank and the Beaverton Downtown Association.

Zuniga's Salsa
The Zuñiga (pronounced zoo-knee-ga) story began when Cecilia Zuñiga Sibelian started preparing homemade, hand-diced salsas for pot lucks and family get-togethers. Through numerous revisions, she was able to capture the subtle flavors of Old Mexico with contemporary tastes. Her salsa became a party favorite and many asked for the recipe. On one fateful occasion, a friend of Cecilia requested four containers for a weekend party and was willing to pay for them. From this innocent request an idea was born.
